When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth you are weeping
for that which has been your delight.

-Khahil Gibran

We are friends of SaraB united in our love of this very vibrant, generous person. Here is a spot where we can share, mourn and revel in some great memories. Perhaps in the very same instant one thinks of Sarah one thinks of her food, of her creative culinary gift, of sharing meals composed of many courses of delicious gourmet delicacies.....

and of the many festivities of life and love for which she prepared the food and often the space to celebrate...........

  1. I am grateful there is a place I can go to share my thoughts about Sarah.
To grieve, to know more about a woman, I thought I'd get to see one more time before her departure.
I saw Julia Child's on PBS last evening. I stayed and listened. I thought of Sarah's voice. I always thought Sarah's was a more smooth version of Julia's. I don't think I ever spoke it out-just thought it.
Her kitchen presence was much like that of dear Julia, but much more elegant, radiant, sophisticated and beautiful. So, seeing this PBS program made me think of Sarah. My heart ached. I miss her.
